The Second Coming of Christ (No Bad News For The Believer) | 5Nov2023

Pastor West: [00:00:00] If you have your Bible, go ahead and turn to First Thessalonians chapter four. We're going to move really quick today. We're in a series teaching on end times, kind of the chronological order, and get ready to put that photo up if you will. This is not stating everything that happens, but this is what our fourth, fourth, fourth time to come and minister on the end time events. How many know that we are living in the end days? Let me try this again. This is. Yes. This is no. This is I don't know what you're saying or I don't care. Praise the Lord. Y'all doing okay? Someone say, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Now, if you don't say praise the Lord sometimes, or glory to God or Hallelujah or something like that. I mean, I've taught people through the years. I'm just trying to help them. Or you can. You can even laugh or smile if you say, well, I just can't smile. Well, then go home tonight and sleep with a clothes hanger in your mouth, and they'll fix that for the next day. But first Thessalonians chapter four and let's go and put the chart up. This is what we're. This is the chronological order from left to right today, presently marks or November the the fifth, 2023. You are now living in the present church age. It's right there on the screen. If you don't, if you haven't saw it right there, this is the present church age. You are living in the dispensation of grace.

 

Pastor West: [00:01:25] You are living in the dispensation of the goodness of God. You are living in a dispensation where God is not counting sin. You say, do what? Where God is not counting sin, that Jesus paid for all your sin and then nailed it to his cross. That's right. Amen. Then what happens next? The next event that happens in the chronological order of things is what is called the rapture. Someone said, you know, I'll just kind of recover some just a little bit, then move forward. So I said, well, the word rapture is not in the Bible. That's correct. Neither is the word Bible. But if you look in the Latin, it's the word. It's the word harpazo, which means to catch up or to seize or to remove quickly. So the next thing that's going to happen is the rapture of the church immediately after the rapture of the church, or in the rapture church. Jesus doesn't come to us here. We go to meet him in the air. True. Then it starts the seven year tribulation, broken into two chronological orders. The first three and a half years is the beginning of sorrows. It will not be great. It will not be great. It'll be a hard time. But it intensifies the last three and a half years. And that's the reason why the only reason the tribulation and the Great Tribulation is the intensity greatly increases the last three and a half years, when the Antichrist will reveal himself and go into the temple and say, no longer are you sacrificing animals.

 

Pastor West: [00:02:57] No longer are you worshiping anyone but me, and he will desecrate the temple and the game will be on for the last three and a half years and that period of time. The Scripture says that if God did not come back with come back and will come back with him, he said, no man on earth would survive it. You don't want to be here. You do not want to be here. After that, the three and a half years. We'll come back with Jesus today. We're going to be talking about the Second Coming. And I don't want you to mix that up with. Sometimes people say that's the same thing. The Second Coming and the rapture now are two totally different events. Rapture is where we go to meet him there. Second coming is when we come back with him after seven years to this planet for the battle of Armageddon. Then after that, to be the millennial reign of Christ where we come down to this planet, Jesus rules and reigns the planet for a thousand years from Jerusalem. The devil's not here. He's locked in a pit. Yeah, yeah. The Antichrist is not here. He's. He's disposed of in hell along with the false prophet, which we'll do today. I told Michelle, I said, when I get home today, I'm going to have to take a nap. Nap? Because I've prepared this. I said before I leave here in an hour, I'm going to have the Antichrist and the beast in hell, and I'm going to have the Satan in a pit for a thousand years.

 

Pastor West: [00:04:22] I'm ready for a nap now. It's been it's been a week. Then there'll be the after the thousand year reign of Christ. If you're on earth in peace for a thousand years, and then we'll have the the final judgment where those who are in hell are be brought back from hell. Those who are in the grave when Jesus comes back. Or in other words, when we go to meet him in the air, those who have died who are not Christians, they're there already, where they're already in hell, but they haven't been judged yet, and their bodies not been resurrected. But at that time their body will be resurrected. Those who have not been judged will be judged. And someone said, well, when do we get judged? Well, you were already judged in Jesus. You. If you're a believer, you don't get judged well. Huh? You get rewarded. See that seven year period of tribulation on the earth? You're not here. You're in. You're in heaven at the marriage supper of the lamb. And then you go to the Bema Seat, which is the reward seat of heaven, where you are rewarded for all that you have done here while your time on earth. And you're rewarded forever for eternity for having done what you did. In other words, sometimes if you go do something at work or whatever, they give you a bonus.

 

Pastor West: [00:05:42] And that was like, yo, this is for that. But in heaven it's like rewarded for eternity for doing. I mean, you do one thing and heaven reward you for eternity for it. You see, that's too good to be true. That's why. That's why it's in the Bible. And then we have the. We have the eternal state where the New Jerusalem comes down, the new heaven comes to this earth, and we live forever with the Lord. And there'll be no demons there forever. Amen. I'm going to have you turn if you want to. They're going to put some scriptures up in there, but we're going to move pretty quickly. I do want to say this because because Brother John and Eileen will be here next week coming from Nebraska to minister. So we're we're taking a pause. So I don't want to I don't want to start with the millennium. I want to end with the second. I want to finish and end with the second coming. Pastor West: [00:06:53] And there won't be quite the same as trying to learn me. And boy, if he can do that, my wife and know there's hope and so. But it'll transcribe the service and so you can get all the details if you want to just read it all and don't want to take you don't have time to go to watch it again. But there's a lot of information here. Some people say, well, I just don't read the book of revelation or study it because it's too hard to understand. You can't understand the book of revelation. And I thought, well, you know, that's funny because God named the book revelation. Why would he tell you to read a book or a revelation to reveal something that you can't understand? I'd just be foolish, wouldn't it? So I do want you to know that if you are a believer in Christ, and if not, you will be before the day is out. You say, how do you know? Because I'm going to make you know, I can't make you. But anyway, just like, why wouldn't you? People say, well, you know, I'm just trying to have some fun before before I, before I come to Jesus. Well, you can't even have fun. Do you come to Jesus? You don't even know what fun is. You don't know what fun is. Look, I lived on your side before. You can't eat nothing and drink nothing, snort nothing. Shoot. You can't do anything.

 

Pastor West: [00:07:59] God is the Most High. You ain't even got high till you get hold of God. You say, well, I've been in church all my life. Well, maybe that's your problem. You too starchy. The Bible says Jesus had more joy above all. All. All fellas. Jesus was happy. He was a friend to sinners. Now, I know religious people don't like that, but he was. It doesn't mean he became like him. But he loved what? What did Jesus do? Well, he just loved the hell out of him. All right, so you know about the the hellish nature. First Thessalonians chapter four, verse 16 and 17. I'm in the new King James Version. If you don't have the new, then do the best you can, for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with him in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And we shall always be with the Lord, and we shall always be with the Lord. I like that, and we shall always be with him in the Lord. So you need to get happy about this message right here about the Second Coming, because it's not the rapture. Once again, this is the rapture. This is when we're when we're called to meet him in the air. When Jesus comes back in the Second Coming, he will come touch the earth.

 

Pastor West: [00:09:13] He will. He will come. He will come to the Mount of Olives. And he will. He will touch there and we'll come back with him. He'll be riding on a white horse. The scripture says you'll be riding on the white, riding on the white horse. So giddy up. Right? And so. But here in the in the rapture, he doesn't come to the earth. We go to meet him in the air. And those who have died previous to that, and they're believers, they'll be raised up their body and it'll be a great time. So I'm just going to fill in a little bit. I'll put a little bit here for the last couple of weeks, then we'll move forward. So the rapture, the rapture verses the second coming. You can say it that way. The rapture is at the beginning. The second coming is at the end, the rapture. In the rapture, Christ comes for his church, but in the second, Christ comes back with his church in the rapture. He comes as a thief in the night, but in the Second coming. The scripture says, every eye will see him in the world at one time. He every eye will see him in the rapture. He comes before judgment comes. In the Second Coming, he comes with judgment. Then comes the thousand or 1000 1000 year millennium reign. Yeah. For $1,000. I'll tell you the rest of the story right now. Scratch that. Don't. Don't send me a nasty letter, because that's just a, you know, praise the Lord.

 

Pastor West: [00:10:43] I won't read it anyway. I mean, just hell. Then finally, the New Jerusalem comes down in the earth, and the rapture is the next event. And here's what you need to know. It could happen at any moment. Nothing happens. Nothing has to happen in the scripture for the rapture to take place. Nothing. Nothing. You say, well, now I know Jesus answered some questions to his disciples about when we know the end is coming. That would be correct. All his answers that he's talking about is is the signs of his second coming, not of the rapture. So when you can see what's happening in the world today, when you can see what's happening in Israel today, basically every major player for the Second Coming, for the battle of Armageddon is on the stage right now, coming against Israel right now. Then you have places like here in the United States that some some of the colleges and some of the most more liberal colleges who think that way, you know, who are protesting Israel. So you see that around the world, Israel will be hated. Israel will be surrounded. Israel at that time, before right before the Second Coming, she'll have all her enemies against her. Israel is about to be wiped out at that moment. And then at that moment, Jesus comes and we come with him, and Jesus sends the whole thing. I want, I want you to leave here in courage.

 

Pastor West: [00:12:10] Because, see, your spirit knows. See, there's a part, there's a part of us that's just like I would just like to be out here. And we all have days like that, right? It's not just because your car payments due. It's not just because of that. But I'm just saying it's just, you know, so much is going on in the world. It's just like, man, heaven would be so much greater and it would be now we someone said, well, you have an escape mentality. Yes. I mean, you want me to apologize for it, but I'm not trying to get out of here today. In other words, I'm not trying to get out of here in the sense that I'm afraid because I want everyone who can be born again, to be born again. No one wants to be here. Last week and this week, I've never had the Lord. I never even thought this before. I probably should have, but I just never thought this before. But when I was preparing for last week, he said, slow down and take your time and write these notes real legibly. And I said okay, and but but you said that for a reason. He said, this broadcast will be archived with all of them and people left on the planet. When you're gone. Some of them will hear this broadcast, and some will even into your home, and will find these very notes. Who's left on the planet to give them hope?

 

Pastor West: [00:13:32] So you you.

 

Pastor West: [00:13:33] Won't be here. Jesus said, there will be. There has never been a time on the earth, nor will it ever be that will be this severe. And you don't have to be here. You do not have to be here. All you have to do is make the decision right now to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. You say, well, I'm trying to get my life straight. You don't get your life straight. He's the straightener. You're not. Praise the Lord, huh? So if you know Jesus, you're not going to be here. It's not. If you know Jesus and these other 40 things. I grew up in that church. Know if you know Jesus as Lord, huh? You're not going to be here. You're just not going to be here. But we need to we need to make sure other people are not here. So this is not just us escaping. But see, the Scripture says that the earth itself knows the time that we're in and it's groaning. The earth is groaning knowing this in the last times. But it said it's waiting for the manifestations of the Son of God to rise up and be who they're supposed to be and take their authority. So you're in a time of the dispensation of grace, where the grace of God is paid for everything. The blood of Jesus paid for everything. But but, but you but you've been given massive authority. The reason why the Antichrist couldn't come even if you wanted to today is because you're on the earth.

 

Pastor West: [00:14:52] The Bible says that the Holy Ghost in you is the great restrainer to the Antichrist. He can't come because there's so much light in you and so much authority in you. All he can do is back down. Amen. Amen. Amen. You do realize that the moment we're here, within short order, the Antichrist will emerge. Which means he has to be on the planet already. If we're if we're in the last days, how many believe that we're in the last days, then the Antichrist is already here. Most people, theologians say he'll come out of the European nations, and I agree with that. But anyway. So don't you know, you say, well, who is he? I don't know who he is. You will get to meet him. Not personally, but we do come back with Jesus on the second coming. We don't actually fight in the war. Jesus don't even actually get off his horse. We're with him. You just. You just got a ringside seat, and there's going to be that there's going to be all the armies we'll get to in just a moment. And there's going to be the false prophet, and we're going to come back here. Israel is about to be wiped off the planet. Here you are on a white horse, and Jesus is going to open his mouth, and we'll come out of sword and we'll come out with fire and he'll obliterate, and there won't be one person left, not one.

 

Pastor West: [00:16:05] So I guess we will get to see this guy. So all he is, is all he is, is a puppet. Satan is, you know, they've got the puppeteer and the puppet and so. So this is someone who Satan has groomed for this day, in this time now. So very quickly, you don't have to turn to all of these. But in John 14, because I want you to leave here in John 14, Jesus said, and this is this is what Jesus said to his disciples the night before he was crucified. He came to his disciples and told them, don't let your heart be troubled. You're like, okay, okay. He knew he was about to be crucified. And he tells them, don't let your heart be troubled. In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and I will receive you unto myself. That where I am, there you may be also. Now we hear this at funerals a whole lot, but this is not really the funeral scriptures. This is the second coming scriptures, second coming scripture. So we're, we're we're really quickly approaching the time of Jesus. He's going to catch the church away.

 

Pastor West: [00:17:08] And but it's not a time to fear, not a time to be afraid. Do you look forward to his second coming? You should. The Bible says that you should. It said that you should have anticipation. You should have expectation, and you should have great joy. Revelation one seven says, behold, he is coming with the with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Second Peter 312 the a part of that and the amplified says, while you earnestly look for and await the coming of the Lord, so he wants you to earnestly look for and wait with expectation. This is what you've been waiting for. This is not a bad message. This is a great time. Amen for you. For the believer, this is the great time. It's an awesome time. What kind of news is it for the believer? It's good news for the believer. There's no bad news, he said. In revelation. He says blessed is he who reads this book. He said, you get blessed if you just read it. He said, well, I don't have to. I don't know if I understand it. He didn't say, if you understand it. He said, you just get blessed. If you read it, Amen. You might get it. You might get so excited that you just, you know, just keep on going and you start reading the book of maps.

 

Pastor West: [00:18:22] I don't know, I just keep on going. So people say, well, I've heard all my life, Jesus is coming. Granny told me that. And her granny told me all that. Yeah, well, the Bible talks about you. The idea. He said there's always been doubters and scoffers. Second Peter three, verses three and four in the ESV says, knowing this, first of all, that scoffers will come in the last day with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. Now listen verse four. They will say, where is the promise of his coming? For ever since our fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were, even from the beginning of creation. So where is he? Where's this promise? He said the scoffers said that until it was too late. But you're among the believers. You're not a scoffer, are you? Are you a believer? Now, how do we know that that that Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. That's what revelation 22 three says. He's the Alpha and the Omega. He's the beginning and he's the end. And so we know that since he's the Alpha and the Omega, we know that he's he knew how to start. And we know that he knows how to finish the 20. The revelation 2213 says, Jesus Christ is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He's the first and the last.

 

Pastor West: [00:19:39] Now that Scripture stands at the end of the world today. The Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the one that stands in Genesis 315 is the beginning of things where he said to Satan, I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. And he. Jesus told about Jesus, his son. One day he said his, he will bruise your heel, and your heel will bruise, or he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel. So Christ is the beginning and the end. He's God's plan. He's God's revelation of the beginning and the world as we know it. Now, many think when you think of end times, because they still think of fearful, because they read of all the calamity that's going to go on and it is going to go on. This is not the dispensation of grace. This is this is judgment that God's pouring out. There's still time in the tribulation for people to be saved. Actually, when you if you're a student of these things, you'll find out that half the people on the planet will be saved, the other half will rejected. The greatest time of revival will be in salvation will be after we're gone. Someone said, well, I read that Jesus can't come until everyone has heard the gospel. Now that's the second common scripture. That's not now. Jesus, come before I can get through talking, because you can still get saved after Jesus is gone.

 

Pastor West: [00:21:01] People say, well, the Holy Spirit won't be here. He won't. Where is he going to be at? Do you think the Holy Spirit could be in heaven and on earth? I do. How many you believe Jesus is here and he's. And he's in heaven. So you can't get saved without the Holy Spirit. So if the Holy Spirit's just gone completely, how is anyone ever going to get saved? No one would be able to get saved without the Holy Spirit. So? So the scriptures will let you know when you when you read the scriptures, that approximately half of the planet will be saved after we're gone. So nothing has to happen for him to come. Nothing has to happen. I mean, you say, well, I got an appointment next Wednesday. He knows it, but he don't really care if he wants to come on Tuesday. Let him come. Amen. Praise God now. So today I want to tell you a story. I'm going to put this in a story form, and I'm going to have to move quickly. But I want you to I want you to hear about the story. I want you to be excited about the time that you're in. But I want you to have an understanding that that, you know, every, every jot and tittle of this book is so precise in, in dates that this thing is well thought through.

 

Pastor West: [00:22:10] There's nothing that God is trying to like, you know, what do you think we should do about this? Or like, did you happen to hear it? Did you hear what happened to John over there? We need to figure something to do about that now. There's nothing to figure. It's already been figured. So here's the story. So we give you the chronological order of events so far in the book of revelation, and we see the evils running rampant throughout the earth. It is now. Right? I mean, I mean, can you imagine attacking Israel? Hamas attack in Israel. What does what does the word Hamas means? It means violence. What is it? It's Islam, which is violence is what it is. Every major player who the Scripture says will come down on Israel at the battle of Armageddon right now, is poised to come against Israel today. This I don't know. I'm not saying it is, but I'm just saying this. This could be the buildup for Armageddon taken now. So all Jesus was trying to tell you when he was giving all the scriptures, how will you know when the end comes? And he told them all the signs, wars and rumors of wars and all such thing. He wasn't talking about the rapture. He was talking about when I come back. Now remember, we're going to be gone for seven years, right? So if he was giving you all the events that was going to take place, that you would know these would be signs to know the coming.

 

Pastor West: [00:23:30] He was talking about the seven after the seven years of tribulation. So if you can see things lining up for the for the seven year tribulation before we even leave, how much closer are you to leaving than you are now? Every major player. I mean, you have Iran. You have Russia. You have you have Turkey. You have Syria all lining up to come against Egypt. Israel will be hated and is hated by almost everyone. And before this thing, if it even ends this way, this, this may end. And the world may go on another a little while, I don't know. Or this might be the buildup to where this is it, and then we'll be gone. Then the Antichrist has to come and sort the whole thing out. And he will. He will in their mind. He'll sort it out, but it won't be sorted out. No one's going to fix this thing. No one's going to fix it. Well, Jesus is going to fix the whole thing. He's going to fix the whole thing. So all this evil running rapid, inflicting pain, suffering persecution on the whole earth's population. And there'll be those who will be saved who reject the mark of the beast. Now, in revelation 19, the moment arrives that God's people have been waiting for ever since Jesus Christ ascended into heaven before his disciples.

 

Pastor West: [00:24:53] And it's the moment when Christ returns. It's recorded so that you'll know in revelation 19 and much of Matthew chapter 24 and 25, and it tells of the future events of how Christ is going to come to the earth, and he's going to come when he comes back, he's going to come back in judgment, and he's going to come back with justice. Now, if you want to, I think we're going to put these scriptures up, Matthew 24 verses 29 through 30. And this is the ESV translation. And remember, this is Jesus speaking here. So on the screen you'll see it. There it is. Thank you. Immediately after this is Jesus speaking. If you don't have an ESV, if you want to, you can look on there or you may have a device however you want to do it. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Now I believe this to be principalities and powers and rulers of the darkness. This is what's going to be shaken. This is the demonic forces. This is going to be shaken. Verse 30 then will appear in heaven, the sign of the Son of Man. And then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven.

 

Pastor West: [00:26:03] And he'll come with what power and great glory. Now, it's very interesting to note this, that these scriptures reference is second coming now, second coming. Did you know that by a factor of 8 to 1 of 8 to 1, there's more scriptures about the second coming than it is the first coming, 8 to 1 ratio of the second coming to the first coming. In the Old Testament, Jesus returned as referenced in 17 books of the Old Testament. 17 books of the Old Testament is Jesus reference to his coming in the New Testament, 23 out of 27 books referenced his coming, his Second Coming, which means seven out of ten chapters reference his return. Which equates to one out of every 30 verses in the New Testament that tells you that Jesus Christ is coming back to this earth. One out of every 30 verses he's trying to tell you, I'm coming back. When you read the books of first and second Thessalonians that Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica, the return of Christ is written in every single chapter. He wanted to let you know I'm coming back. The Lord himself referenced his return back to Earth 21 times. He wanted you to know I'm coming back. In fact, the Second Coming is second only in scriptures to salvation. The Second Coming, other than salvation, is the most dominant subject in the entire entire Bible.

 

Pastor West: [00:27:48] He wants you to know that I'm coming back. I'll go to prepare a place for you. And if I go, I'm going to come back and I'm going to get you and where I am. You're going to be with me. Amen. So this is so important to God, so it should be important to us. Now, if you'll put up the Hebrews 928 for them, if you will. And I want you to see this in the New Living Translation. I'm not changing subject, but I just want you to see this. It's just so. Also, Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again not to deal with your sins. Who's your right to believers and non-believers? You're going to be writing to believers, he said. But when I come back, I'm not coming to deal with your sins, but I'm bringing salvation to those who are eagerly awaiting him. That's good news. That is so good news. Now, you don't have it back there, and you don't have to because I'm old. But listen to Jude 124 it says now to him to about Jesus, who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and he will present you unblemished. When you get to heaven, because your righteousness is of him, not of your works, but of his works. If you're if you're born again, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus because of his righteousness, not because of any of your works, lest we boast so because you're the righteousness of God in Him, Jesus is going to take you and present you to the father, unblemished, blameless, and faultless, in the presence of his glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight.

 

Pastor West: [00:29:30] The Lord is going to take you one day to his father. And he says, father, I want you to meet. I want you to meet faultless. I want you to meet blameless. Why are you faultless? Why are you blameless? Because Jesus is as he is. So are you all right? Then verse. 25 says to only to our only God and Savior, through Jesus Christ be glory, majesty, dominion, and power before all time, now and forever. So that was Jude 124 and 25. Now let's get down to some fun. Y'all ready? Oh, we got some fun. We're about to have some fun. This thing is going to rock. I have been waiting to get to this part. I am ready to. I'm ready to deal with the Antichrist and the beast and Satan. And then I'm going to go have a nice lunch. Y'all ready? Did you know that in the book of Genesis that Enoch predicted the Second Coming? Enoch. Enoch was born a little over 1000 years before Christ was born in Enoch. Enoch prophesied of Christ.

 

Pastor West: [00:30:39] He wasn't even born yet on the earth of his Second Coming. Now either. You got to be. Really smart or on something to do that. Jude 114 and 15 I think they're going to put this up. Jude one 1415 the King James Version says, and Enoch also, he's the seventh son from Adam. He prophesied that these sayings, behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints. Verse 15. What's he coming for? To execute judgment upon all and to and to convince all that are ungodly among them of their ungodly deeds, which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him four times he deals with the ungodly. So Enoch, in that interesting other Enoch, prophesied the second coming of Jesus. From the Book of Genesis. Thousand years before Christ was born on the planet. Then the prophet Daniel said, Jesus is coming back. And Daniel seven, verses 13 and 14, this is in the ESV also he said, I saw the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven, there came one like a son of man. And he came to the ancient of days, and was presented before him. Verse 14 and to him was given dominion and glory, and a kingdom that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

 

Pastor West: [00:32:18] Who is he talking about? Jesus. So we have we have Enoch prophesied in the book of Genesis of the Second Coming. We have Daniel prophesying the second coming of Jesus. And then we have Zechariah, Zechariah verses chapter 14. I think it is in verse three and four in the ESV says, then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as when he fights on a day of battle. I mean, you just have to think about what do these guys think that they were prophesying about? The Lord's not even here on the planet. And so Zachariah, a prophet, you know, a prophet is a seer. He's seen in the realm of the spirit. He's hearing these things, and he's writing these things down, of which he has no reference to whatsoever. And then he's saying, then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as he fights on a day of battle. Verse four. On that day his feet about Jesus shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the mountains shall move northward and the other half southward. Let's think about Zachariah prophesying that, saying he's going to come and he's going to stand on the Mount of Olives, and he's prophesying about the Second Coming, not the rapture.

 

Pastor West: [00:33:32] He's prophesying about the Second Coming. And Jesus had not even been born on the planet yet. Now I'm going to say this because no one else can hear this. I'm still studying this out, but I think the Holy Ghost knows everything. Amen. I don't know if that's I don't want to get on the tape all that because someone might think it's kind of out there, but it could be that God knows everything. Okay. Matthew 20. In Matthew 24 and I'm still in the ESV, and I'm going to read verses 2827 through 31. Jesus speaking to his disciples in the Olivet Discourse. He speaks of his second coming. So these scriptures talk about the Second Coming, not the rapture. For as the lightning comes from the east, verse 27, and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened. The moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man. And then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, and from one end of heaven to the other.

 

Pastor West: [00:34:54] These are the words you see of Jesus. He's telling you of the time of the tribulation when he comes back. It's called. It's also called the Great parousia, which is the has several terms, but it's really the second coming of Jesus, the parousia. Is Jesus coming back and setting up his kingdom on the on this planet. Jesus said he's coming back to earth again. Jesus said he was. And when he does it, it won't be like the rapture. It'll be nothing like the rapture was and the rapture. Remember, we were caught up to meet him in the air. It's a secret. The rapture is really a secret moment for the believers. Totally secret. The Bible says he will come in the twinkling of an eye, which is 1/40 of a second. You won't. You won't have time to roll off the sinner's prayer. In 145 a second. But when he comes the second time, the Bible says every eye is going to see him. Every eye, every person on earth will witness his return. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Thessalonians said this. And second Thessalonians one eight and nine and ESV. He said in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Pastor West: [00:36:14] He said they will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. So the words of the Old Testament prophets, and then in the epistles of the New Testament and even in the Gospels, Jesus is trying to tell us from the old to the new, to the Gospels. Listen, I am coming back. Now we know the place of his return in Zachariah 14 four and in Matthew 24 is on the Mount of Olives. But the Bible says that there is a preparation that will take place before his return. We know that in revelation 1919. Y'all doing okay? Am I don't want to go fast like this. But you have so many tools today. I mean, you can you can go on SoundCloud here. So I mean, we got like three different ways to listen to an audio. You can watch the broadcast, you can go on YouTube. You can transcribe the whole thing down. If you if you if you want it, you can get access to it. Amen. So revelation 1919 ESV says, and I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who's sitting on the horse and against his army. Now this is the final showdown, guys. This is the. This is the end of time. This is. This is all the rebellion or the prior seven years of tribulation that's been taking place on the planet.

 

Pastor West: [00:37:29] And it all comes to a head called the Battle of Armageddon. And in this battle, it's the Antichrist and the kings of this earth. That's on the planet, and all the pitiful souls that's been following them. And they're going to come together for one last time. And their purpose is they're going to try to make war against Jesus Christ. And they're and they're their purpose is they're going to make war against Jesus Christ. And they're and their goal is they're going to defeat Jesus Christ. Can you imagine what fools they are? Mm. Can you imagine the pride of Satan and all of his demonic ranks to even imagine they can fight against God and possibly even think that they could win? Total absurdity. Igneous on steroids, but they'll be so determined to fight against Jesus Christ that they will forget their hatred for one another because they'll have a common enemy, which is Jesus, and they'll marshal all their forces together, all the armies of the earth. They'll marshal their forces together, and they'll use all the military strength and all the satanic strength of the Antichrist and the false prophet, and Satan will marshal everything that he has for one last time. And then the Bible tells us what's going to happen. Praise God! Revelation 19, verses 11 through 16. You might want to look at this revelation 19, verses 11 through 16.

 

Pastor West: [00:38:52] I don't know for sure which translation I have it in. I meant to write that down, but verse 11 says, then I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse. The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True. And in righteousness he judges, and he makes war. And his eyes are like a flame of fire. And on his head are many diadems, which is a jeweled crown. And he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and by the name by which he has called his name is the Word of God. Mm. We like the Word of God here. So. Hello. And the armies of heaven arrayed in fine linen. Now, this is talking about you. Now. Now we're going to go back to look how look how they're dressed now for battle. Verse 14. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on a white horse. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. And he will rule them with a rod of iron. And he will tread the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. And on his robe and on his thigh he has a name written King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Now he is the King, and he is the Lord. But he's the King of kings.

 

Pastor West: [00:40:12] Who's the who's the kings? And who is the other lords? We are. And that is inscribed upon his his robe, that he has you inscribed upon the thigh, on his robe, that he said, I am the king of these kings, and I am the Lord of these lords. And we're we're tens of thousands upon thousands upon thousands, right on the white horse. I mean, you know, you would think we put on our battle fatigue stuff and it's like, you know, where's my camo? You're wearing a pure white linen on a white horse, and you're just like, giddy up. I mean, you'll be sitting there drinking, you know, your your cocoa and eating your cocktail. Peanuts. You say, I've been waiting for this a while. I mean, it's down to the final count. So we know that the first time he comes in the rapture, he comes in obscurity, you could say. But the second time he comes, remember, every eye is going to see him in the entire world will witness his return to the earth once again. Jude tells us what Enoch prophesied when he saw. I just want to read this part again. Behold, the Lord comes with 10,000 of his saints to execute judgment upon all the ungodly among all them, and their ungodly deeds, which they have ungodly committed, and all their hard speeches which the ungodly sinners have spoken against him. He uses that word ungodly four times, and then Christ will punish all these who have created all this havoc on the earth, and all the sin, and all the hatred and all the rebellion and all the lawlessness on the earth, and he'll do it in a moment of time.

 

Pastor West: [00:41:48] He will not drag it out. It'll be quick. It'll be swift judgment. The revelation 19, 17 and 18 and the ESV says this. And then I saw an angel standing in the sun with a loud voice. And he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead. And the angel tells the birds, come, gather for the great supper of God. Okay. What are they going to do. Verse 18. They're going to eat the flesh of the kings, of the flesh of captains, the flesh of the mighty men, the flesh of horses, their riders, the flesh of all men, both free and slave, small and great. It's interesting to note that in the book of revelation it mentions two suppers. There's the marriage supper of the lamb, which you will be at. The second one will be called the Supper of God that you just read about. I would strongly suggest that you make reservations for the marriage supper of the lamb. It would be a great meal, but if you don't, you're going to be at the Great Supper God, and you're going to be the meal. Very seriously in a sincere way. God wants us, he articulates, I mean, in his expression to us that while you may be upset about what's going on in the world and fatigued with it, do not grow weary in well, doing that you place your total faith and trust in him, because he wants me to encourage you this morning and he says, I am going to set things right.

 

Pastor West: [00:43:24] I'm going to set things right, and there will be a punishment of the wicked, and it's going to be so devastating, insomuch that the Lord himself is going to have to summon all the fowl of the world and clean up the carnage of their destruction. Joe Morris, on his on his website, talks about. In 2009, Israel said that they're having this vast amount of predatory birds that are coming into Israel by the tens of thousands, and they don't even know why they're coming to Israel, and said Israel now has 172 species of predatory birds that have arrived in Israel gathering for something. They're gathering for the Ezekiel 38 war because they're going to eat the flesh. They're going to eat that. We just we just read. God has everything planned up, even to clean up crew. And then the Bible tells us that those who have perpetrated all this evil will have a distinction that no one would ever want. No one would want this distinction. Revelation 19, verses 20 and 21. And the NLT says, in the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles, and on behalf of the beast, miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped the statue.

 

Pastor West: [00:44:50] Verses 21 and was killed. The entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. The entire army will be killed by the sharp sword that comes out of Jesus's mouth. The one riding the white horse. Verse 21. And all the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies. He's going to set things right. The Antichrist and the false prophet will be captured from the earth, and given the undesired honor to go to hell before Satan. Satan does not join them, and for a thousand years, because he's put in a pit for a thousand years. But the Antichrist and the false prophet will be thrown into the fiery furnace. You could say the fiery pit, and then Satan will be loose from the pit to go to see the nations, and he will defeat. Then after a thousand years, he will be loosed in the pit for a season, and he'll go. The Bible says to deceive the nations once again. He just keeps using the same tool over and over and over. Deception, deception, deception. And he'll go to defeat them quickly. But the Lord will end it quickly. Then he'll be cashed in. The Bible says he'll be cast into the eternal punishment and hell.

 

Pastor West: [00:46:07] Forever and forever and forever and forever. Today, I want you to know that for the believer, this is a. This is the right time. This is the good time. It's not just good news. Because everywhere in the Scripture before judgment ever took place, like for Noah and his family, God saved them. He rescued them lot. He was saved from Sodom and Gomorrah. God always come and took his people out before wrath came. You're not going to be here for the tribulation. Someone will be listening to this broadcast. I wish you weren't listening to this broadcast. But the gospel that needs to be preached for those who are here. This broadcast that we covered last week is Jesus was saying to you, endure. Endure. It will be the most difficult thing. Many will lose their lives because they're not going to take the mark of the beast. Some some will literally just perish because they'll starve to death. Others will be beheaded. The Antichrist will have much power on the earth, but he will never, according to the scriptures that I read, he'll never he will never do. But he'll never have the power of the entire earth. He'll. He'll have enough enemies here just fighting him for position. But he'll never gain control. But it will affect the whole world. He will set up a one world government and it will be set up.

 

Pastor West: [00:47:39] You've been hearing about that for years, haven't you? About one world currency and one world government. Well, that's that's the tribulation period. So if you can see the setup for it now in 2023 and years before that, how close are you to leaving, much less coming back in seven years when it's prophesied it? All these signs is what he's telling you is going to happen while you're gone. And we have to be we have to be gone for seven years and come back for whatever happens. There will never be a one world economy while you're still here, but it will take place in the middle period of the tribulation. He will come as a great diplomat. He'll wax eloquent eloquently. He'll seem to have every answer to the problem on the planet while you're missing where we're going, how all that happened, how to bring the people together, how to bring the economy back together. Israel will think he's a muslim, will think he's the Messiah. He'll come in and he'll be a skilled diplomat, and he'll be looked like your best friend. But he's not your best friend. He's Antichrist, which means instead of Christ, which means to replace Christ. And what the Bible says that we have the spirit of Antichrist already in the earth. It's already working in the earth. Now all you got to do is turn the television since October 7th and you see it.

 

Pastor West: [00:48:52] You don't, you don't. You didn't have to wait till then. It's working everywhere you see the spirit of Antichrist working everywhere. The Scripture tells us that as you get closer to the end, perilous times shall come. It won't grow brighter and brighter, but darker and darker. But he says, but when you see these things happening, he says, he says, be of great kindness to the believers, because your redemptions are really close, and I'm going to come to you as a great thief in the night and in the twinkling of an eye and a 14th a second, he says, I'm going to get you out of there. And then the wrath comes. Then the wrath comes, but you're in heaven. You're at the marriage supper of the lamb. You're you're with God. You're with the Lord Jesus Christ. You're with your loved ones. You're with all the saints in heaven. You're enjoying the marriage supper of the lamb. He's taking your whole life and taking you to the reward seat and says, we will. This is the time for you to have a great reward. Then you're going to come back to this planet during the millennium after the Armageddon War, and it's going to be total peace on this planet that we've never known, just like it was before they were seen on the earth. And Jesus Christ will rule from Jerusalem. Someone said, well, will he be a Democrat or a Republican? No.

 

Pastor West: [00:50:01] And you will not vote on him every four years. He's king of the kings and Lord of Lords, and you'll have a job. You say, well, what will my job be? Well, I don't know, but it'll be based on your faithfulness. Right now, you're writing your resume right now of faithfulness, of what you're going to do for a thousand years. So get busy. Do something. Of course, I wouldn't say this, but, you know, I was just thinking natural things like, you're going to have all this going on, this Ezekiel war, the Armageddon, and all the tens of millions of birds, who's going to eat all the flesh? And then there's going to be waste all of the earth just from what the birds ate, right? You don't want to be the millennium. Like, I guess I've been getting a job cleaning up all the bird stuff. No. Get busy. Get a better job, okay? You don't want. You don't want to whack weeds for a thousand years. You're like man. Ram. Ram. Ram, Ram, Ram. Ram, Ram. No. Have a better job. He taught it in the parable of the talents. He gave you a talent. He gave him money. He said, go invest. I'm going to come back and I'm going to check on it. He gave us what we needed, but he's going to come back. He's going to check on his investment. We want to invest wisely.

 

Pastor West: [00:51:19] See, this word today was to be invested into you so that you would have a greater understanding and be encouraged in your hearts. You say, well, I already knew all that good. Then it encouraged you not because I preached it, but because it's the Word of God. It should encourage you that at any moment, but it should also. It should also, if I can borrow Joe Morris's analogy, which which is perfect, he says, you're at the two minute mark in the ballgame mean you're behind 7 or 10 points. You got to throw the playbook out. We don't have time to run. No, we don't have time to run plays there. There's no more timeouts. So we got to throw a little post, you know, to the to the side and get out of bounds. We got we got two minutes left. We don't have time to be nice. We have time to get a job done. So what you do is you accelerate because Jesus is coming. If you care more about people than you'll tell them, you'll speak to them. You do realize he's coming and you know that you're not going to be here. Could you imagine the terror on the earth? Just people who some of their family is gone, or all of them, and they're just like one of them left or two. Could you imagine the terror of what's in their heart, what it must feel like? Can you imagine that if this thing doesn't end in seven years, 84 months, not one person would survive the planet? How intense could it be that not one person would survive the planet? That Jesus has to come back? You don't want to be here.

 

Pastor West: [00:52:42] If you're listening, you don't want to be here. And the good news is, you don't have to be here with every head bowed, every eye closed. If you're here this morning and you say, I hear what you're saying, I believe with all my heart that Jesus came. And I believe that he's going to rapture the church. And I believe he's coming back again. But I don't know for sure. I don't know in my heart of my heart, of my heart. Maybe you've never been born again. Or maybe that you have been born again. But things happened in your life, situations happened, and you just kind of got away from the father's house. Maybe you have things going on in your life right now. First off, you need to know that Jesus loves you and that love will never change. And you need to know that you can't send the grace of God away, that the grace of God is much greater than your problems, or your sins, or your situations going on in your life right now. But you need you need to leave here with a know so experience. You need to know for a fact that Jesus Christ is with you, that his hands upon you, that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

 

Pastor West: [00:53:46] Because if it is when that rapture takes place at any moment, you're going to leave this planet in a twinkling of an eye and you're going to ever be with the Lord, if it would help. And if someone's here today who hasn't made that decision or needs to make that decision, if it would help, I would beg you to do that. I do not want any person left on this planet. I believe the second coming is really close. I don't think we have that much time left. You say? Well, I've heard that again. Remember Peter talked about the scoffers. This is. Yeah, well, we've heard this. But then. But then he came. But then he came. If Jesus Christ was to come back to this earth today, the question is, is, is not or the question is not is there a heaven? The question is, are you ready? And if you don't know for a fact that you're ready to go, if you don't know with all assurance that you're ready to meet the Lord today, would you just quickly just put your hand up and back down and I'll just pray for him for right here. Just know that, you know, don't don't put it off. Don't wait another day. Don't wait another moment. Don't let Satan talk you out of that.

 

Pastor West: [00:54:56] Don't don't let him talk you into that. Well, you're a pretty good person. A pretty good person is not the recipe to go to heaven. It's the shed blood of Jesus Christ. And you accept him him as Lord and Savior of your life. If you're here today and you don't know for a fact that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, you don't know that you're right with God, but you want to. You want the assurance. You want to know. You want to have the confidence that if Jesus were to come today, that you would be with him forever in heaven, would you raise your hand real quickly and say, pray for me. Just include me in that prayer. And I just want to know that I know that I know. Amen. I think we're all believers, but we're going to we're going to pray for those who are watching and listening. So if you're listening in another time or watching, we're about we're approximately in about 40 different countries. So I'm potentially as long as as well as here in the United States. So if you want to pray that prayer with me, would you just pray? And y'all pray with me, say, father, father in heaven, we love you, we thank you and we praise you. We praise you. We thank you for the promise. We thank you of your word. When you said, you said he who comes to me, I will in no wise cast out. I ask you, father, I ask you to forgive me of my sin.
